Terms & Conditions for Online Customers & Refunds Policy

By completing the purchasing process you're agreeing to be bound by the terms and conditions shown below. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Formation of Contract

All requests to order items from www.balancededinburgh.co.uk (referred to in these Terms & Conditions as "we" and "us") will be provisional and non-binding unless or until a "Confirmation of Order" email has been sent to the e-mail address of the registered user. For the avoidance of doubt a contract between the parties shall not be established until this takes place.

Privacy & Security

When you shop with us online we ask for information like your name, email address, delivery address and telephone number. We do not store any credit/debit card details. This information is necessary to enable us to process your order and liaise with you about your order.

Data Protection

We comply with all aspects of the Data Protection Act. Unless expressly volunteered, any data we hold will not be used for any mailings and will not be passed to any third party.

Payment

We accept all major credit/debit cards: Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard and Maestro. For your own protection, we suggest that you do not send cash in the post.

Pricing

We do our best to ensure that prices shown on the website are accurate at the time you place your order. If an error is found, we’ll inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling your order. If we don’t receive an order confirmation within 14 days of informing you of the error, the order will be cancelled automatically. If you cancel, we’ll refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit/debit card for the goods.

Class Availability

We try to ensure that we have accurate class information but some classes book faster than expected and bookings can be made through other platforms. We aim to provide the most up to date information we have on availability and will do our absolute best to ensure you get the classes you want. We accept no liability arising from any inability to fulfil bookings other than returning any payments made to you.

Descriptions

We've attempted to ensure that the specification and description of all items is correct on the website and shows them off to the best of our ability. Sometimes they will be even better than you expected.

As soon as an order is received, we will send you an email confirming its receipt. This email should be received at the very latest within 24 hours. If you do not receive an order confirmation email, please contact us using the methods outlined in the contact us section.

Cancellation Policy

  1. We operate a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. Late cancellations will be liable to full payment.
  2. Our matwork classes are sold in eight-week blocks (with seasonal exceptions) and must be paid for in full before the block commences. Places on matwork classes can only be confirmed when payment is made.
  3. 48 hours notice is required for cancellation of a block of matwork classes or a cancellation charge (20% of the course cost) will be levied. After the first class in a course, no refund will be given for cancellations or missed classes.
  4. Where spaces permit missed classes may sometimes be made up by attending another class in the same block. This must be arranged in advance and agreed with the matwork co-ordinator and is strictly dependent on our maximum numbers policy and spaces being available in a particular class. Where classes are full we cannot allow extras. We take no responsibility for classes missed: this ultimately lies with the client.
